This is a photograph taken from the top of the West Tower of Tantallon Castle in East Lothian, Scotland looking down at what was formerly the kitchen and brewhouse area of the castle. The picture below looks up at the West Tower and is taken from ground level. The buildings on the right are the kitchen and brewhouse which can be seen from above in the above photograph.

Tantallon castle is now a ruin but during its heyday was the ancestral home of one of the most powerful families in Scotland.
