The picture was taken at Gladstone Court which is a museum of Victorian social history. Despite being in a rather small Scottish Town it is well worth a visit with some excellent exhibits especially as you can also visit Moat Park Heritage Centre (another surprise) in the same morning/afternoon.

This picture is one of the many exhibits and is a mock up of a Victorian Grocers Shop. Based on real shops which were long established in Biggar many of the exhibits came from them. Names such as William Inglis, William Ovens, Bruntons, Fergusons and Wilsons will be familiar to the longer serving Biggar Townsfolk.
