Bridge of Orchy photographs
This is a picture of Bridge of Orchy, Scotland. The place known as Bridge of Orchy is - well almost literally a bridge, except for a few small houses scattered around it and a Scottish highland hotel. Mention of the hotel is quite apt as the main reason for the hamlet was a stopping place for travellers. Bridge of Orchy is also popular for two other reasons. One is the use of the River Orchy here by canoeists and white water rafters, the other significant attraction is the climb of the dominant summits of Beinn Dorain and Beinn an Dothaidh, which guard this small hamlet.
This is part of a collection of Scottish photographs which show the variety of landscapes and natural features which make up the country of scotland.
